ISPITANICI I METODE: Istraživanje poznavanja stavova i prakse zdravstvenih radnika o vakcinaciji protiv hepatitisa B je provedeno u Općoj bolnici Konjic i Stomatološkoj službi RMC Mostar putem anonimne ankete.

ZAKLJUČAK: Neznanje, neobavještenost, nedovoljna svjesnost i propusti u organizaciji izvođenja vakcinacije su razlog niskom obuhvatu imunizacijom protiv hepatitisa B u zdravstvenih radnika u Mostaru i Konjicu.

Among the non-vaccinated, most frequently answer was that they were not offered vaccine (58%), 4% doesn't have trust in the effects of the vaccine, and the rest said that they had no special reason why they were not vaccinated. Among the health care workers of the Dentistry department, who was questioned 84,2% was not vaccinated. Even 78% dos not know why, 15,8% does not have information about the ability of vaccination, and 5,3 % does not trust in the effects. It is significantly that 68,4% of the non-vaccinated want to be vaccinated.

CONCLUSION: Ignorance, lack of information, insufficient consciousness of the need and importance of vaccination and various failures in vaccination are the reasons for such a small number of health care workers in Konjic and Mostar are included in hepatitis B vaccination. On this way it is a risk not only for the health care workers, but also for their patients.
